    Project Engineering and Execution of Siemens Automation & Control Business Unit is looking for motivated and qualified individuals to fill the following position:

    Drive Application Engineer (Code: DAE)
    The candidates should fulfil the following requirements:

    • Good knowledge of DC/AC motor application on industrial areas (e.g. Winder, Paper machine, Steel plant)
    • Electrical Engineering S1 Degree, majoring Control System, Electronics or Power system
    • Good knowledge on variable speed drive/inverter for DC or AC Motor
    • Good knowledge of Power Electronic, Close-loop control system, and Mechatronics
    • Fluency in English both written and spoken, German would be an advantage
    • Ability to work both independently and proactively and in a team
    • Systematic and methodological working style

    Main job:

    • Inverter and motor sizing for specific application in industry
    • Component selection and electrical design of drive panel
    • Configure specific control system for electrical feed rotating machine application.
    • Start-up drive system/inverter at site (Jakarta as home base)
