A multinational telecommunication provider is seeking for :

I. Core Network Engineer

Working in the Core Network team, responsible for the 2nd tier maintenance, system changes of GSM and WCDMA Core Network. Core Network refers to Network Element: CS Core, PS Core, IP Core, IN/RBT, BSC/RNC, Transmission and TOC. It is also the focal point to work with D&B team for system handover and acceptance for the new network elements or system expansion

Duties:

   1. Perform 2nd tier corrective maintenance and system changes
   2. Work with Huawei Techincal Support and third party equipment vendors for fault escalation and coordinate for the necessary fixes
   3. Evaluate and analyse the system performance for capacity planning
   4. Support multi-vendor integration issues and problems, and perform inter-operator testing

Criteria:

   1. Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunication engineering or related discipline
   2. For senior engineers, 5 — 7 years of experience in GSM/WCDMA network operation, planning and development
   3. For engineers, 2 - 4 years of experience in GSM/WCDMA network operation, planning and development
   4. Good technical know-how on Core Network
   5. Good command of spoken and written English.
   6. Good analytical and communication skill
   7. Good interpersonal skills in handling customer and vendor

II. BTS/NodeB Senior Engineer/Engineer

Working in the Core Network team, responsible for the 2nd tier maintenance, system changes of GSM and WCDMA Core Network. Core Network refers to Network Element: CS Core, PS Core, IP Core, IN/RBT, BSC/RNC, Transmission and TOC. It is also the focal point to work with D&B team for system handover and acceptance for the new network elements or system expansion

Duties:

   1. Perform maintenance jobs of BTS/NodeB which include alarm monitoring, problem diagnosis, performance analysis and work with contractors for the Field Maintenance
   2. Perform 2G and 3G cell sites corrective and preventive maintenance activities including site facilities ( AC/DC power, air conditioning etc ) and BTS/NodeB equipment maintenance
   3. Perform BTS/NodeB network change management and equipment reconfiguration work
   4. Manage and supervise contractors, co-ordination with internal and external parties on mobile network maintenance related activities
   5. Perform regular site inspection to ensure quality of contractor work
   6. Carry our daily logistic management, spare parts management and asset control to ensure sufficient spare parts for daily mobile network maintenance activities
   7. Manage site database system and prepare quality reports
   8. Supervise round-the-clock network maintenance routine jobs

Criteria:

    * Holder of Degree in Telecom, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related discipline or equivalent with minimum 4 years solid experience in the 2G and 3G cell sites
    * In-depth experience in BTS/NodeB of Huawei system is a MUST
    * Familiar with PC applications which include MS Word, Excel, Project and SQL database
    * Good leadership and excellent inter-personal skills
    * Experience in project management and resource allocation
    * Able to work independently and flexible in working hours
    * Good command of written and spoken English.
